Telekinesis

Telekinesis
Sylar throws locker doors at Peter
Held by:	Brian Davis, Sylar, Peter Petrelli
Ability to:	Move objects with the mind
Examples of telekinesis

Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with the mind.

Characters

Brian Davis is the first character (chronologically) to demonstrate this ability.

Sylar acquires telekinetic abilities after murdering Brian.

Peter Petrelli has absorbed this ability and reproduced it.

Limits

Telekinesis requires active concentration.

Brian Davis had extremely limited telekinetic ability. With concentration, he was able to move a cup slowly across the surface of a table. Brian was afraid of his power, and never tried to develop it.

Sylar has demonstrated far more advanced telekinetic abilities. He can exert enough force to tear sheet metal, and he has enough control to cut off the top of a person's skull to expose the brain. Sylar has probably been actively developing his telekinetic abilities.

Examples

• Sylar turns off the lights in the Union Wells locker room, possibly using telekinesis. (Homecoming)
• Sylar throws Claire off him; as the force appears to be stronger than the capacity of a normal man, this is probably an example of telekinetics. (Homecoming)
• Sylar points at Jackie Wilcox's forehead to slice her head open. (Homecoming)
• Sylar rips metal doors off of lockers at Claire's school, then throws them at Peter. (Homecoming)
• Sylar pulls Eden through the security glass of his cell. (Fallout)
