This article has been nominated to be split into multiple articles "List of character appearances by graphic novel" and "List of character appearances by graphic novel/Tally" such that the Tally is on a separate subpage that updates dynamically using DPL. The following is a list of appearances by each character, sorted by graphic novel and order of appearance in the given novel. First appearances are noted in bold. The counts for the number of graphic novels each character has appeared are in parentheses.
Eden McCain is the first character to make a return appearance in a graphic novel, as well as the first non-main character to be the focus of a graphic novel.
Wireless, Part 1 is the first graphic novel to focus on a character previously not seen on the show.
The two parts graphic novel Revolutionary War have just two character appearances, but if you count the Evan's clones those comics have definitely more than 10 characters appearing. Also, Prodigals, Part 2 have just two character appearances, but if you count Eli's clones there are more than 10 character appearing.
