Trivia
- Noah Bennet appears in more graphic novels than any other character.
- The Haitian has the most graphic novel appearances by a non-main character .
- Out of the characters not appearing on the show, Thompson, Jr. is the one with the most appearances.
- Angela Petrelli, Monica Dawson, Samuel Sullivan and Simone Deveaux are the only main characters who have not been the focus of a graphic novel. Although Niki Sanders has not been the focus of a graphic novel, both Jessica Sanders and Future Niki have.
- Eden McCain is the first character to make a return appearance in a graphic novel, as well as the first non-main character to be the focus of a graphic novel.
- Wireless, Part 1 is the first graphic novel to focus on a character previously not seen on the show.
- Walls, Part 1 is the first graphic novel occurring in a possible future timeline with no present-day character appearance. Following other such graphic novels are: Walls, Part 2, Quarantine, The Man with Too Much Brains, Hana and Drucker's Plot Discovered, The End of Hana and Drucker, and Resistance.
- Walls, Part 2 is the first graphic novel to only feature no new characters.
- Maya y Alejandro is the first graphic novel to not feature any characters that had, at that time, appeared on the show.
- The Last Shangri-La is the first graphic novel to only feature characters still not seen on the show. Subsequent novels that feature characters who never appeared in episodes include A Lesson in Electricity, Bounty Hunter, and Moonlight Serenade.
