This is a passive ability and cannot be taken away without causing medical issues. This is because their body has been adapted to life with a special material with all other organs which surround it. If this ability was taken away, the user would lose strength and feel tired, for their body cannot adapt quickly to everything around it without the material which makes up the bones.
