Character History
How to Stop an Exploding Van
Richard is having a picnic with his family while being spied on by the Cockney Heroes.
Ambush from an Outside Source
Richard wakes up in a prison cell, and is greeted by Shark. When Shark asks Gold what he is in for, he replies that he hasn't done anything. Shark then asks what are Gold's powers, and when Gold denies having any, Sharks shows him his own power by creating an exact copy of a food tray. Gold then takes the copy of the food tray and turns it into gold. Shark, obviously impressed, comments that they'll make a good partnership.
Shark of the Streets
After being aquanited with Shark, a voice from the shadows reveals that they can no longer use there abilities. A fustrated Shark began to walk around the cell as Richard recalls how his power made him rich.
Later the pair on were talking to Mike about his visions. He claimed that Richard was to escape with them, but no-one could think how.
However with help from Tara's ability and Ladzaro's portals the gang, along with Richard manage to escape. Later back at the penthouse, Richard stands with Shark as he states their next target are the streets of London.
Midas Touch
Shark returns to the penthouse to find that Richard has inconspicuously made a good deal of money, much to the gang's annoyance.
As Shark prevents Tara from attacking Richard, Mike attempts to find the outcome of Richard's actions, but as he is doing so the police arrive and Shark has to convince them to leave. A relieved Richard then listen to Mike's latest vision, as Shark decides to go to the warehouse.
The Die Is Cast
At the underground bunker, Emmett guards the entrance with Eddy. They are taken by surprise as Shark's gang (including Richard) attack and Sophie throws giant white balls of plastic at Emmett and Eddy, which solidifies, trapping them. Eric Cowell then comes out and hypnotizes the gang while Eddy attacks the nervous system of Richard and Mike Douglas. Shark's gang retaliate and Shark pistol whips Eddy, while Sophie sends a plastic ball at Eric. Shark then proceeds to ask Emmett where the rest of the Cockney Heroes are; he does not reply and Shark shoots him in both legs, repeating his question.
Richard and the gang later arrive at the docks and Ladzaro transports a troublesome Consuela away. The two gangs face off and Richard engages in a battle with Leckie, transforming a board into gold and using it as a weapon; however Leckie knocks it away and the pair begin fist-fighting. Later Irony, using his ability, knocks out Shark and the gang, but Richard is only dazed by it. Leckie promptly knocks him out with the golden board.
Evolved Human Abilities
Richard Gold has demonstrated his ability of alchemy once, turning a food tray into gold (Ambush from an Outside Source). It has been stated that he has became a very rich man because of it, showing that he can turn most things into gold (How to Stop an Exploding Van).
According to his assignment tracker his control index is 80%. His biological level is at 60, his cerebral level is at 35, his elemental level is at 45 and his temporal level is at 20.
