| Ability to: | Diminish the effects of an ability |
Ability Diminishment is the ability to decrease the effects of an evolved human's ability.
Characters
- Irony is the only character known to have this ability.
Limits
Irony
At first Irony could only drain abilities by touch. It would also take him a few seconds to drain the power completely. As his power developed Irony could start to drain powers completely, but only by touch. He could also start to drain abilities very slightly without touch. When Irony's ability was supercharged he completely drained an evolved human ability and it never returned. Irony was able to use his ability as a shield to make his way to Derek without being hurt by his ability. (Nemesis)
When Irony drains a person who is not an evolved human their life force is rapidly drained, when officer Bonkin's life force was drained his skin shriveled, his eyes receded back into his face and his brain went into recession. (How to Stop an Exploding Van)
